We are so sad, but due to severe allergies, we must find a home for our bunny, Lola.
She is 3 years old, and spayed, located in Kennebunk, Maine- but willing to travel for the best home. She is free roaming, inside only bunny. We leave her door open night and day, but she does not leave her room. She has a sweet personality, has never nipped and loves company and attention. She is litter box trained. She does not love to be picked up.

This rabbit wandered onto a property on Old Portland Road in the Lake Arrowhead community on May 20. Appears to be a young male, not certain if neutered, and also not positive that this is not a female but will attempt to determine that. He is very friendly, can be picked up and held without struggling. He has an excellent appetite, and needs a loving home!

Hi everyone, I wanted to update the fundraiser, and say a big thank you to everyone who donated or shared the fundraiser.
We are a little over 1/3 of the way to our goal . We were able to get our livestock trailer, which is huge in moving all the animals, and have enough left for new tires and a light kit for break lights and signals. Any money after that will be used for the cow and donkey shelter, and all new fencing for all 60 animals . Again, the Misfit Farm family appreciates all of you, and your support, during this move to our new location.

After a lot of soul-searching and careful thought, my daughter has decided that for many reasons, she can't care properly for her bunny, Nugget, and that she would like to try and find her a good home.
This is not a decision we take lightly as a family, as we believe caring for a pet is a responsibility. My daughter understands that with this decision she is also making a choice to not have her own pet again for a VERY long time.

A little about Nugget: she's between three and four years old and yes she is spayed.
She's very friendly though a little pushy about food. So if she thinks you've got food in your hand she may try to nip your fingers...but you can pick her up and Carry her easily. We trim her nails without issue. She can wear a harness and go on walks.
She is litter box trained.

We were contacted by Hope who rescued a pregnant rabbit. She has been taking care of mama and babies and has paid for their spays and neuters. She is planning on keeping one or two, but needs to find loving, indoor homes for the rest of them.
They are 15 week old, Mini-Rex mixes. Hope is asking a re-homing fee to offset the cost of the spays and neuters. $70 males/$100 females.
Milkyway neutered 15 week old male. Litter box training is going well. Loves to play with wiffle ball. Thinks it belongs in his water dish.
Razzles neutered 15 week old male. Has is own ideas about where things go in his pen. Beautiful grey with a little peach colored spot behind his ears.
Jellybean neutered 15 week old male. Not as cuddly as his brother Milkyway but with a little work this curious fellow will make a fine lap bunny.
Twizzler spayed 15 week old female. A bit opinionated. She is standoffish. Now that she is spayed and in a pen instead of a cage I'm hoping she warms up.
Taffy is having surgery this week.

Coal is fixed.

This sweet girl is a Lion Head mix, is about 3 years old and 4 lbs. She is sassy like most Lion Heads, but enjoys being pet/handled and loved on. She isn’t afraid of cats or dogs and is very socialized. She is litter box trained (as well as puppy-pad trained and diaper trained). She will come spayed and up to date on all shots. We are grateful to our amazing friends at Ingendahl Acres (Anna Ingendahl) for fostering this little sweetheart while she waits for her forever home! These four rabbits need a good home. The big white rabbit is a girl she is sweet just a little shy. The small white rabbit is a boy and he is friendly I call him snowball. The dark grey bunny called sonic by my boys is a little skittish but I am able to pick him up and pet him. The lighter grey one is also a boy called EB he is a little hard to break runs away but once you pick him up he’s ok. These rabbits desperately need somewhere to call home as I can not take care of them. I took them in when they were going to be killed. Hello! As you all know, we have been closed for almost a year now. However, we post on behalf of people who are trying to find homes for their rabbits and, in rare occasions, we will take rabbits on if we deem that a situation needs immediate attention.
I (Michaela, the founder of the rescue) just took two females from someone and need assistance funding their spays. They have been living together, and for that to continue peacefully they need to be spayed immediately. I should be able to get them both done for about 200-250.

Jack is a sweet, energetic 3 yr old Flemish/Continental cross boy who would love nothing more than to binkie his way through your house and heart forever, then sit beside for pets as long as you can stand it! Though his excitement was too much for his special needs house mates, he is the perfect boy for the right home. Jack is neutered and litter box trained, and has never “bitten” though he has done bunny talk nips rarely. Want him to go to a loving home where he will get the space and attention he should have. We do not charge a fee for adoption as we are not operating officially but we do ask that adopters agree to get them spayed. You can get them spayed with your own vet or use our vet in Gray. We also still require adopters to answer a few questions to ensure they are going to a good home.

I don’t have details yet. I imagine they can be taken separately, and probably are not fixed yet.
