16 month old Brittany-Wirehair cross, a turn key already started bird dog that just needs to be taken out hunting named Ben. Jim has been crossing these two breeds over the past 5 years with great reviews from family’s who own one. Ben is a solid liver color with settle orange highlights in his coat with a white patch on his chest. He weighs roughly 50lbs. Ben is a great retriever and does not hesitate to make a water retriever. He has already figured out at his young age and understands the meaning of team work and partnership and is very eager to please. Ben is not a vocal dog and is crate trained, house broke, and has good manners in his kennel. He does great with other dogs, ignores them while hunting but will gladly play and get along with any dog while he’s off the clock. Ben does great and has been exposed to kids. He is a calmer demeanor dog and could make someone a great multipurpose dog for chasing upland and sitting in the blind retrieving waterfowl.
