Here's our donation to Quick Draw 2019! This is a heavy-duty coat tree. Overall dimensions are 77" (6'5") tall x 26" square (at base). The post is a repurposed former fence post. Actual dimensions of the post are 5.5" square x 73.5" (6'1.5") tall. All of the metal hooks & feet are hand-forged. The coat/hat hooks at the top are about 19" long x 8" deep x 1.75" wide. The feet are about 23.75" tall x 10" deep x 2.5" wide. The piece could be modified to fit against a wall or in a corner by removing hardware. Trenton isn't a big guy, but he can hang from 2 of the coat/hat hooks without bending them or tipping the tree over. It will be on display at one of the banks after Friday 3/1. Quick Draw this year is on Saturday, March 16th. Phone bids have been accepted in the past if you can't make it to the event.

Well, Trenton tried his hand (or hammer, I guess) at something a little different for Quick Draw 2018! He hand-forged a bell from a piece of oil-field pipe. The clapper was forged from a repurposed bolt & given a pyramid head. If you'd like to see it in person before Quick Draw, it is currently on display at First Interstate Bank along with lots of other cool art. Quick Draw is scheduled for Saturday, March 17th in the Absarokee High School Gym. This event is a fundraiser for scholarships for seniors graduating from Absarokee High School. Last I heard, there were still a couple tables available for the event. Contact the school at 406-328-4583 if you are interested in purchasing a table or half-table to support our seniors!

Here's our donation for the 2017 Beartooth Stock Association's annual meeting & banquet! The knife is a paring knife, measuring approximately 7 inches long (total) with a 2.5-inch blade of Damascus steel that was forged from a used chainsaw blade. The informational program starts at 1:30pm, open bar at 6pm & dinner at 7pm. The auction, where you can bid on this knife as well as many other items, will be after the dinner. Dancing will follow. It all takes place at Anipro Arena TONIGHT! Hope to see you there!

But pretty much nowhere do I see anyone talking…
