Right Steps Dog Training

Right Steps Dog Training Right Steps Dog Training is a positive behavioral based program, taught by Carol Millinghausen I know that there is not a dog out there that cannot be trained.

I also know that training has saved many dogs’ lives. Not just from being hit by a car, or running away, but training and learning good manners keeps dogs in homes. They don’t come to us understanding human culture. We need to understand their culture, see life and training from their perspective and train them with patience, consistency and respect. Sometimes we humans need to modify our behavior

and how we interact with our canine companions to keep them safe and train them well. I help people teach their dogs good manners using positive reinforcement, and operant conditioning (clicker training). I use no aversive methods. I educate people on canine body language and communication because face it, when two species can communicate it leads to a deeper understanding and a better relationship.
