👀ANSWER:

The top testicle was the abdominal or cryptorchid testicle. They tend to be smaller than normal due to the higher temperatures INSIDE the body than in the sc***um where they are supposed to be. The germ cells that produce s***m get too hot and gradually atrophy, making the testicle smaller.

🌟Fun fact: the right testicle has a higher chance of being cryptorchid than the left because it forms higher in the abdomen and has a longer path to make it to the sc***um!

👀WHAT'S YOUR DIAGNOSIS?🧐

These are testicles from a cryptorchid dog. One testicle was still in the abdomen not descended, and the other was normally in the scrotal sac. Do you know which one was in the abdomen and why from our picture?
