Yes I'm a bad ass groomer that other grooming places send bite dogs and cats to for grooming...

I was picking up a golden doodle for grooming this morning. Dad told his daughter she was just getting a trim. So when a 5yo little girl hands you her Ty Beanie Baby cow and softly asks, "Can you trim him too?"

You trim the cow❣️

Most folks know I listen to old VHS tapes while grooming because I know the movies or music so well I can see them playing in my mind.
This is one of my favorites. I just love the sound of a banjo. Someday I'd like to have one and learn to play. I've played EE clarinet in band, Bb contra bass clarinets in marching band, 1st chair cello for many years in school from 5th-12th grade, electric guitar (self taught) and won 4th in a guitar contest once, and even some on my fiddle/violin already.
But there is nodda wrong with the visual or audio of my old fashioned VHS player TV ❤️

17yo elderly girl can't groom herself anymore and was pelted up. She was AWESOME! At the end she was purring, but still pouting 😂 Coat isn't even as I had to use shorter blades to safely get the really tight pelted coat off.

I don't know why so many groomers don't groom cats. With a calm atmosphere cats are very calm for it. This cat terrorizes her parents but is great for me 💗 The spray is a conditioning spray to cut down on the static electricity. Yes I scruff her because cats' skin is very loose and it's safer to tighten their skin as not to damage or hurt loose skin when doing their grooms.
This was a deshedding groom I did today. I charge $50 and it includes nails trimmed (if inside only), a**l glands expressed, ears cleaned, tooth brushing, a**l glands expressed, bath and blow dry.

I've always kept my hrs flexible for clients but a few have ruined it and I've finally had enough!

Henceforth my hours of operation are 10a-6p.

This is just today's example:

Had a client schedule to meet me at 7:30a this morning.
(I am NOT a morning person to start with!)
So had hubby call to make sure I was up by 5:45a to be ready in time.
Then she text at 7:20 that it would be closer to 8:15 so I was at the meeting spot at 8:15a.
Then she text 8:45. I'm not going to idle and waste gas for 30 mins so sat in 32⁰ weather in the truck.
8:40a she texts she's 5 mins away
8:52a I text I'm not waiting after 9a
8:57a she texts she's on Beltway
9:07a she finally F'ING arrives!! And I've been up since 5:45a, she's over 90 mins late.
If you have a nail, hair, or Dr appt would they wait 90 mins for you? Ok so neither will I from now on. THIS is precisely why I'm always late! Because of inconsiderate clients.
And because I've screwed up the dogs schedule here, now I also have 2 messy crates to clean so I'm going to be running behind on starting my 10a groom.

IT'S OFFICIAL! Starting Feb 20th on my 50th birthday I am joining my beloved husband on his 18 wheeler for a MONTH LONG vacation!!

My last vacation was April 2011 when I was 38yrs old and it was 10 days long. In those 12yrs since, I've only been away overnight 3 times. I will have friends staying at the house taking care of any pets here.

I will have my appointment book with me so I can get folks on the books before I ever get back. I'm also taking my Dremel because I figure trucker's dogs need their nails done too and I still like making money 🤑
