We had a some very sweet people pick up this beautiful girl, sadly she didn’t have a microchip. She seems to have lost her herd! If she belongs to you, we are sure she misses you!

Companion Animal Hospital will be closed Friday July 3rd, 2026 in observance of the 4th of July. We will resume normal business hours Monday, July 7th.

The Fourth of July is almost here! 🎆 🎇

Fireworks are beautiful to look at but their loud booms can be pretty traumatic for our furry friends.

Our sister hospital, Ocean Shores Animal Hospital, has hired a full time Veterinarian that will start at the end of the year! 🎊🎉🍾

Did you know cats and dogs can get arthritis as they age? Degenerative joint disease is the number one cause of chronic pain in cats and dogs.

Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) and specialized injections ( Librela for dogs and Solencia for cats) can be very useful in combatting pain in our furry friends.

Happy Monday Grays Harbor!

Did you know that in Western Washington we don’t have a typical “flea season”?! Our area is kind enough to have fleas 365 days a year. 😑😑😑

This area just isn’t cold enough LONG ENOUGH to freeze 🥶 so it’s really important to keep our furry family members on flea prevention all year long.

You’ve heard of Revolution, you’ve heard of Bravecto, but have you heard of Bravecto QUANTUM?

Bravecto Quantum is an injection that last for 1 year and treats fleas/ticks. No topicals or trying to force a pill down your pets throat. Currently it’s only available for dogs, but we will keep you updated on if and when it’s available for cats.

Hey Grays Harbor! Here at Companion, we have seen a few doggo patients that have gotten Cyclosporine over the counter (meaning without a prescription 🤯) and it can have some concerning clinical signs!
