The Old Bridge Animal Shelter needs clean, gently used towels! ❤️

We go through A LOT of towels caring for our dogs and cats. They’re used for baths, drying, cleaning, bedding, and making our shelter animals feel warm and comfortable.

Have towels you no longer need? We’ll gladly take them!

And here’s the best part… you don’t even need to come during public hours! 🙌

🧺 We have a donation bin located outside the shelter gates.
Simply drop off your clean towels whenever it’s convenient for you!

🐱: All cats and kittens 50% off fees
🐶: All adult dogs over 40lbs $0 fee

All of our pets will be spay/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped with free lifetime registration, and have everything else they need to start their new lives before going home 🩷

Plastic is not a good choice as a food bowl. Plastic easily scratches and bacteria can build up. Badly scratched plastic bowls can irritate a cats tongue. Also, if your cat develops feline acne on the chin, the plastic may be the cause. Acne looks like little blackheads. In some cases, the acne can become very inflamed.

Plastic bowls are also very light and they often end up sliding around the floor when the cat is trying to eat.

A better choice is stainless steel, glass, or ceramic. If using ceramic though, make sure it's totally smooth. If using glass, routinely check for chips.
