Our shelter works hard every single day to care for animals in need — with the help of dedicated staff and incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and love freely.

We keep our adoption fees and return-to-owner fees as low as possible, because our mission is not profit — it’s compassion. 💕

If your dog is brought in by a police officer as a stray, please know:
We don’t control when or why an animal is brought in. The officer is acting in the best interest of your pet, making sure they are safe and not at risk of injury or harm.

When we contact you about your pet, please understand that the $30 fee helps cover the cost of housing, feeding, and caring for your dog until they’re back in your arms. It ensures your pet was protected and out of danger.

We love what we do — and we do it for the animals — but we also deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. 🐾
