Pups are due this week!
SIRE: Hunters Rest Canaille is 35 pounds with a muscular frame standing 17 inches tall. With over 250 real world duck hunting retrieves before he was two years old. He has become not only my hunting sidekick in the marsh, but also my podna on the sofa. He performs excellently retrieving ducks in our dense marsh of south Louisiana where a dog must not only be well trained but also have a great nose and natural instinct. He loves the water and spends a lot of time in our backyard cooling off in the pond and going for a casual swim.

DAM: Hunters Rest Mais weighs 28 pounds and stands 15 inches tall. She has a chocolate short straight wavy coat with a small precious top knot. While Canaille is playing in the marsh, you can often find Mais curled up with the girls on the sofa. We truly love how this breed can be the best of both worlds.
