*Canine Parvovirus*
Canine parvoviral enteritis is one of the most common infectious disorders of dogs, highly contagious and often fatal.
Most infections occur as a result of contact with contaminated f***s in the environment.
When the disease occurs, clinical illness is most severe in young rapidly growing pups that harbor intestinal helminths, protozoa and certain enteric bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens, campylobacter.
Common clinical findings include vomition, foul smelling bloody diarrhea, anorexia and rapid onset of dehydration.
