🐶💔 Meet Sweety – A Little Fighter 💔🐶

At just 3 months old, little Sweety was brought to Superior Animal Clinic, Makindye along Salaama Road, Kampala in a heartbreaking state.

She had developed mania and paralysis in her legs, making it almost impossible for her to stand or even walk. Her tiny body struggled, but her eyes still shone with hope.

With great care and love, our veterinary team immediately carried out a full veterinary examination and X-ray imaging to find out the cause of Sweety’s paralysis.

Every moment was filled with anxiety for her family, but also with determination from our doctors to give her the best possible chance.

🐶❤️ Dog blood transfusion to save Molly’s Life at Superior Animal Clinic – A Story of Hope

When little Molly, a 7-week-old puppy from Kampala, was rushed to Superior Animal Clinic in Makindye, she was in a moribund state — weak, barely able to stand, with bloody diarrhea, severe anemia, and her tiny body covered in fleas and ticks.

Tests confirmed she was positive for parvovirus — one of the deadliest diseases in puppies.

Her condition was critical. Without urgent help, Molly had only hours left.

Our veterinary team immediately started life-saving treatment, including a dog blood transfusion to replace her dangerously low blood count, intensive IV fluids, and medication to fight the parvo virus.

For hours, we worked tirelessly — cleaning her tiny body, removing the fleas and ticks, keeping her warm, and monitoring her every heartbeat.

Slowly, Molly began to lift her head… then wag her tail.

Today, Molly is eating again, her gums are pink, and she’s on the road to recovery. 🐾✨
