Today I’m sharing a small but very special piece -- a handmade fabric case that can hold pencils, scissors, or even sunglasses ✨

This one has its own little story. A friend of mine was sewing a dress for herself, and I noticed she was throwing away tiny leftover pieces of chitenges. I immediately said, “Wait! Can you give those to me? I’ll make something for you from them.”

And here it is 🧵💛
What some see as scraps, I see as possibility. I love how sewing can turn leftovers into something useful, meaningful, and full of memories.

Little projects like this remind me why I enjoy accessories so much -- small details, creative reuse, and stories stitched into every seam ✨

🌟✨ Exciting News, Everyone! ✨🌟

I’m absolutely buzzing with joy to share my latest sewing adventure with you all—a stunning polka dot dress that has me feeling like a butterfly ready to take flight! 🦋💖

This project was a dream come true! I fell in love with the playful polka dot fabric and knew it would be perfect for a dress that shines bright. Each stitch was a step toward creating something beautiful, and I can’t help but feel a sense of transformation as I wear it. It’s amazing how fabric can empower us and bring out our inner sparkle! ✨

Of course, there were challenges along the way—like mastering the fit and figuring out the best way to sew those delicate curves. But every little hurdle taught me something new and made the final result even more rewarding. I’m so proud of how it turned out! 🌈

I can’t wait to twirl around in this dress and embrace the joy it brings. I hope it inspires you to chase your own creative dreams, no matter how big or small! 💕

❤️ Hello, everyone! ❤️

I’m back with another exciting sewing project, and this one is extra special! I created a festive shirt for my son’s Valentine’s event at school, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you! 🎉👕

Using leftover red and white fabrics, I designed this shirt with love and a touch of creativity. The black thread adds a fun contrast that really makes the colors pop!

However, this project wasn’t without its challenges. Initially, the shirt turned out a bit small, which meant I had to resize it. Talk about a learning curve! 😅 After that, I realized it was a bit short, so I had to add some length to make it just right. It was a bit of a puzzle, but I’m proud to say I figured it out!

Every stitch was a lesson in patience and problem-solving, and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

🌟 Hello, lovely people! I’m Marina! 🌟

At 35, I’m a proud mom of two energetic boys who keep me on my toes and inspire my creativity every day. As a family, we love to explore new adventures, and now I’m embarking on a new journey of my own—sewing!

In the past, I dabbled in making adorable bows and decor for pets, which ignited my passion for crafting (and you can see over hundreds post under this one filled up with my per accessories creation). I’ve always had a love for creating beautiful things, but my experience with a sewing machine has been limited to design classes back in school. Fast forward to today, and I’m ready to dive back in and learn the art of sewing from the ground up!

This space will be my creative outlet, where I’ll share my progress, projects, and the occasional mishap (because let’s be real, we all have those!). From simple patterns to more complex designs, I’m excited to document my growth and connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts along the way.
