Help Cover VÄST’s Training & Boarding
While his guardian, Irena Druzenko of Kyiv Cat Crew, undergoes cancer surgery and recovery, reactive dog VÄST is staying full-time at DOGLAND with trainer Oleksii Loktionov — for intensive behavioral training and boarding.
“For the time of my surgery and recovery, I took VÄST to a one-month training and boarding program at DOGLAND.
Before boarding, we had already done an evaluation and weekly adaptation visits to reduce his stress.
He’ll be celebrating his fourth birthday at the school — I hope I’ll be able to visit him.
We chose DOGLAND because our ‘brother’ trained there. I saw the results firsthand, and the team’s experience with service dogs really mattered.”
VÄST is a highly reactive dog who can only be safely handled by professionals.
His placement at DOGLAND is not optional — it’s the only way he can be safely cared for while his guardian is in treatment.
We’re now collecting funds to cover VÄST’s training, boarding, and care.
The full cost for the 1-month program is $1,184 USD (≈ €1,078 EUR, ≈ 49,250 UAH).
📍These costs are currently being covered by money borrowed from the guardian’s cancer treatment fund and urgently need to be reimbursed.
