AN INTELLIGENT SQUIRREL DRIVES AWAY A DEADLIEST GOLDEN COBRA

Its conservation status is "least concern". The main predator to the king cobra is the mongoose because the mongoose is immune to its venom. However, mongooses rarely attack king cobras unless they have to. Venom from a king cobra can kill a human in around 45 minutes.
Adult squirrels have quick reflexes, which help them avoid a snake strike. They can also take on the defensive position and warn snakes to leave them alone.
Are Squirrels afraid of fake snakes?
Squirrels are observant and will eventually learn your fake snake isn't alive if you leave it in one spot all the time. Moving the snake's location, position or shape keeps the squirrels guessing.
Squirrels and some birds are afraid of owls.

Why do Cobras have hoods?
Function. The cobra's hood is created by many elongated ribs that are capable of extending the looser skin on the neck outwards. ... Cobras do this whenever they are disturbed or feel that they are in danger. By doing so they can make themselves look larger than they really are and potentially unnerve a predator or foe.

Since chameleons can't generate their own body heat, changing the color of their skin is a way to maintain a favorable body temperature. A cold chameleon may become dark to absorb more heat, whereas a hotter chameleon may turn pale to reflect the sun's heat. Chameleons will also use bold color changes to communicate.
Chameleons unfortunately mask illness until its basically too late to help them. Regardless of whatever colors they typically exhibit they have a special kind of ashy greyish color with black markings when they are near death. That's the color they will be when they die.
Do chameleons make good pets?
Chameleons are amazing creatures, but they aren't the best pets for everyone. Since their care requirements are quite specific and they are easily stressed, chameleons are not for the beginner herpetologist
What do chameleons do before they die?
Signs that your chameleon is suffering and possibly dying from stress include loss of appetite and hunger strikes, darker or brighter coloring than usual, rocking back and forth, unusual aggression, keeping eyes closed, watery or very smelly f***s, and changes in body temperature.
