Shantungosaurus, the largest member of the ornithopods. Its body size truly far surpasses the other two gigantic beasts that lived in the same time and place.

Shantungosaurus, el miembro más grande de los ornitópodos. Su tamaño corporal es verdaderamente abrumador y supera con creces a las otras dos bestias gigantes del mismo tiempo y lugar.

沒想到一年後還能再回到上海自然博物館，還更是參觀了如此令人驚艷的特展！有點感慨的是上次在台灣看到如此優質又有深度的展示，少說已是十年前，希望能有更多有志之士來打造如此傑出的特展！

I never expected that I would be able to return to the Shanghai Natural History Museum just a year later. Even more surprising was the chance to see such a stunning temporary exhibition.
It is a bit bittersweet to realize that the last time I saw an exhibition of this quality and depth in Taiwan was at least ten years ago. I sincerely hope that more dedicated professionals will work to create such outstanding exhibitions in the future.

Nunca imaginé que un año después podría volver al Museo de Historia Natural de Shanghái y, además, visitar una exhibición temporal tan impresionante.
Es un poco nostálgico pensar que la última vez que vi en Taiwán una exhibición de tal calidad y profundidad fue hace al menos diez años. Espero sinceramente que más profesionales comprometidos puedan crear exposiciones tan destacadas en el futuro.

我各人最新的油畫作品“白堊紀的最後決鬥”，用以致敬查爾斯•奈特這位首次在藝術作品上展現暴龍和三角龍力與美的老前輩。
背景中的雪山，象徵白堊紀末期氣候開始異常，暴龍頸部的羽毛代表其逐步朝鳥類的方向演化，
反之三角龍則走向滅絕。

My latest oil painting --"The Last Duel of Cretaceous" as a tribute to Charles Knight (1874-1953), the master who first exhibited the strength amd beauty of Tyrannosaurus rex (T-rex for short) and Triceratops through artwork.
Besides, the snowy mountain in the background symbolizes the abnormal climate during Late Cretaceous, and the feathers of T-rex's neck represent its evolution to birds while Triceratops went extinct.

Mi última obra al óleo —"El Último Duelo del Cretácico"— es un tributo a Charles Knight (1874–1953), el maestro que mostró por primera vez, a través del arte, la fuerza y la belleza del Tyrannosaurus rex (T-rex) y el Triceratops.
Además, la montaña nevada del fondo simboliza el clima anormal durante el Cretácico Superior, y las plumas en el cuello del T-rex representan su evolución hacia las aves, mientras que el Triceratops se extinguió.

About those who always want everyone to "Love Taiwan", I really wonder how many of them have visited this marvellous museum.
It's true that the exhibitions about Taiwanese prehistoric animals and human cultures in National Taiwan Museum, National Museum of Natural Science and Tainan City Zuojhen Fossil Park are rich. However, I only admire the exhibitions in National Museum of Prehistory when it comes to the level of stunning and vividness.
