回顧2024年，總結：
✅ 陳重威獸醫師受邀成為EVDF歐洲獸醫牙科學會的年會講師，也是台灣目前唯一受邀的牙科獸醫師，感謝EVDF歐洲獸醫牙科學會特邀，倍感榮幸。
✅陳重威獸醫師成功完成兩隻狗植牙和一隻貓植牙的個案案例，本院成為亞洲目前唯一有能力幫動物植牙的動物醫院。
✅我們成立了「TVDEC台灣獸醫牙科教育中心」（包含官網設立），開設一系列的廔管手術課程，希望可以藉由教育中心的成立培育更多牙科獸醫師，也希望陳醫師能將他對獸醫牙科和人醫牙科的知識與融合技術傳承給更多獸醫優秀的後進們。
✅本院醫治好更多貓口炎及狗口炎的狗貓病患，還有其他苦於口腔惡性腫瘤、牙周病、下巴骨折重建等牙科和口腔的狗貓病患，這部分是2024年最值得開心的事！
2025年我們仍會繼續努力加油！
✅本院有了新的官方網站（見下方留言處），陸續會把原本舊網站的兩百多篇文章和個案分享轉移到新網站。
因為資料數量龐大，請大家耐心等待我們一下。
2025年是全新的一年，陳重威醫師會提出更多研究計劃，希望能藉由研究成果縮短牙齦黏膜置換手術的療程時間，減輕飼主的經濟負擔，讓更多貓狗病患受惠，這些研究也包含其他牙科與口腔疾病。
TVDEC台灣獸醫牙科教育中心仍會在2025年開設牙科課程，請密切注意官網公告。
2025年也請大家多多支持與陪伴哈囉彼得動物醫院不斷茁壯成長，也祝福大家在新的一年寵物都健健康康、平安喜樂。
Review of 2024: Summary
1. Dr. Richard Chung-Wei Chen was invited to be a keynote speaker at the annual conference of the European Veterinary Dental Forum (EVDF), making him the first veterinary dentist from Taiwan to receive such an invitation. We express our gratitude to the EVDF for this esteemed opportunity.
2. Dr. Chen successfully completed dental implant procedures for two dogs and one cat, establishing our hospital as the only veterinary hospital in Asia currently capable of performing dental implants for animals.
3. We have established the Taiwan Veterinary Dental Education Center (TVDEC), which includes the launch of our new official website. A series of surgical courses on oronasal fistula surgeries will be offered, aimed at cultivating more veterinary dental professionals. We hope that Dr. Chen will pass on his knowledge and integrated techniques in both veterinary and human dentistry to the next generation of outstanding veterinarians.
4. Our hospital successfully treated more cat and dog patients suffering from stomatitis, as well as other conditions like oral malignant tumors, periodontal disease, and mandibular fracture reconstruction. This aspect marks one of the most gratifying achievements of 2024!
In 2025, we will continue our dedicated efforts!
Our hospital has launched a new official website (see the comment section below). We will gradually transfer over 200 articles and case studies from our old website to the new platform. Given the volume of information, we appreciate your patience during this process.
The year 2025 brings fresh opportunities. Dr. Chen plans to propose more research programs aimed at reducing the treatment time for mucogingival replacement surgery (MGRS), thereby alleviating the financial burden on pet owners and benefiting more feline and canine patients. These research efforts will also focus on other dental and oral diseases.
The Taiwan Veterinary Dental Education Center (TVDEC) will continue to offer dental courses in 2025. Please stay tuned for announcements on our official website.
