Capt. Wilson Huang's Humble Abode (I-Shou Raiders) Facebook supporting page for the I-Shou High School Basketball Team or better known as the "I-Shou Raiders" Like this and support your school...Go Raiders!

I-Shou International School has recently put together a high school basketball team called the "I-Shou Raiders". The team is comprised of the best of the best basketball players in our school. The search for players that show immense potential is now complete after hours and hours of intense auditioning, training, and debating to see who has it in them to glorify our beloved school and take home the trophy.

Let's wish the boys a lot of luck for their tournament up in Taichung tomorrow. A month has passed since this team had just been set up and now we're off to make our school proud. Based on my observations of the team's practices and their everyday lives for so many weeks, all I can say is: "Wow, now these are men", and I mean it. For many of the eleventh graders in the team, this will be their last chance to shine on the court. On behalf of me and my co-worker Amy Hsin, we just want our boys to go out, play some ball, and have fun.

This is the ISIS Raiders saying goodbye for the very last time.
Goodbye.

The so called "Triple Threat" has agreed to take a quick photo of them in their new pajamas. After a great compromise, we have decided to dedicate this page to our captain Wilson Huang (Asian on the right). Our new page will be orientated around the life and times of Wilson. From time to time Wilson will give us exclusive tours through his thoughts on the world of high school basketball and some of the challenges he needs to face every day.

Until next time...

Feast your eyes ladies and gentlemen; the ISIS Raiders’ uniforms have arrived. Cannot wait to see these babies up on the courts knocking the other teams down with our awesomeness. We are looking more and more like a real basketball team now folks. The lads are training none stop for the tournaments in January up in Taichung.

Is it a bird, is it a plane? No, it's Johnny Chang! So you see that little guy at the front who looks kind of blurry; that's Johnny. And no, he does not appear blurry because this photo was taken on my iPhone; that's just how he is in real life. Johnny moves so fast that you can never get a good glimpse at him, ever. His body just doesn't stop moving and he just so happens to be the fastest kid on the field, hence why we call him "the Hedgehog".

Brief Player Profile:

Player: Johnny "the Hedgehog" Chang
Age: 16
Height: 180 more or less
Weight: 70 more or less
Position: Shooting Guard

We are proud to announce that the ISIS Raiders have won their very first game. For all you other people out there who didn't come support your teams, well I don't even know what better things you could have been doing. You guys really missed out on a very exciting game. The game was unfortunately canceled due to extreme weather conditions that we had during the second half.

Raiders 29:8 Ninth Graders
MVP - Justin Huang with eleven points to himself, 3 steals, and 4 rebounds.

Congratulations to Justin Huang for his excellent performance out there. And be sure to come watch our second game on Thursday against the Girls Basketball team.

Go Raiders!

Beautiful camera shot of our bench-warmer Howard "Pretty Boy" Hsu. We don't call him pretty boy for nothing now do we? Just look at his posture; making even the most awkward stretches seem as graceful as Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. Modern day Achilles right here folks. And do you see his muscles? Those were on him right when he was born. He's head was packed between his twelve packs and his triceps (which had to be surgically removed because they were too heavy for his spinal chord to support). It was all over the newspapers too, roughly around sixteen years ago, so good luck finding that. If this isn't beauty, then I don't know what is.

Brief Player Profile:

Player: Howard "Pretty Boy" Hsu
Age: 16
Height: 180 more or less
Weight: 50 more or less
Player Status: Bench Warmer

The I-Shou Raiders are playing against the ninth graders today after school! Do not miss out on the Raider's first game ever. After surveying through the corridors during break, nine out of ten random people said that the Raiders would win this game. It is going to be one hell of a match.
