🐾 This sweet pup came in for a groom, but we noticed all four paws were stained a dark brown. While it may look like “just dirt,” this type of staining is often caused by saliva from constant licking.
Just like tear staining around the eyes, saliva staining on the paws can be a sign of something more, such as allergies, skin infections, or irritation.
If you notice your pet frequently licking or their fur developing rusty-brown stains, it’s worth a vet check to get to the root of the problem and keep them comfortable. ❤️
✨ Grooming helps with cleanliness, but treating the cause keeps your pet healthy!
