The Nurture Nature Campaign in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Veterinary Association (TTVA) have developed these informative posters for Veterinary Clinics and Pet Shops.

We hope these can be useful tools for learning and spark discussion among wildlife keepers and their veterinarians. Vets are some of the best advocates and messengers for ending the harmful pet wildlife trade. They have the power to educate all of us about the true cost of the trade and its harms to animal welfare, biodiversity and public health, as well as ensuring that wildlife keepers abide by laws and proper care practices.

Our posters feature Macaws & Parrots, Monkeys and Red-eared Slider Turtles. These animals were selected because of their prevalence in the harmful pet wildlife trade in T&T, the risks they pose and the welfare issues they face.

Thanks to Jono Solis for the fantastic illustrations and Terrell George of Cobalt by Cobalt Blue Communications for the great graphic design!

The Nurture Nature Campaign’s NGO Coalition includes:
- Animals Alive
- Animals 360 Foundation
- Animal Welfare Network (AWN)
- Corbin Local Wildlife Park
- Centre for the Rescue of Endangered Species of Trinidad and Tobago (CRESTT)
- El Socorro Centre for Wildlife Conservation
- Environment Tobago
- Sustainable Innovation Initiatives (SII)
- Trinidad and Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TTSPCA)
- Trinidad & Tobago Field Naturalists' Club (TTFNC)
- The Trinidad & Tobago Veterinary Association (TTVA)
- Venus Doggess of Love
- Veterinary Students' Association of Trinidad and Tobago (VSATT)

These posters were made with the generous funding support of the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID)
