Are you new to the DOGGY DASH? Well, it is a super fun time! There are lots of prizes to be won and not just for those in the race, there are also categories, like "best dressed" and many others (Shellyann Johnson).
All dogs should be on a leash and will be excited to see each other, but don't worry, if your doggie gets a little too excited there is lots of space to spread out.
Then there is the race. It is a fun race, in a beautiful location. If you and your dog are athletes you can run it and aim to win it (Steffi Galt). Or, if you are like me, you can help bring up the back of the pack and stroll through the beautiful surroundings (Jessel Batson).
If your doggie has little legs like my Tyson, don't worry, they can stick around and just do the small dog sprint. Or they can hang-out and do nothing at all. Totally up to you.
By the end of the race all the doggies are tired out and it is a truly great time for them to socialize or take a swim in the pool (my kids' favourite part - swim with the dogs).
My family and I love this event. We only wish there were more like it and more such venues that were dog friendly.
This is a great event and Sunnyview is very grateful to Rainbow Warriors Triathlon Club for putting it on.
Please come and join us this Sunday with your four-legged friend!! This is the final dog-friendly event of the summer.
LOCATION The Arboretum see Doggy Dash TT for more details!
