FIRST FROZEN SEMEN LITTER IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

We have made history! On Saturday 18th February 2012 the first frozen semen litter in T&T was born! Six rottweiler puppies sired by Von Kams Bruce Almighty's frozen semen.

Brittney (the Dam) was inseminated using frozen semen collected more than a year prior by Dr. Gowrie Lalla and Dr Leandra Dass of the Cunupia Veterinary Clinic. One of the three centers in Trinidad certified for the procedures.

We just wanted to thank trinidogstars.com for the great event yesterday and remind the group and Best in Show winners that they have won collection, freezing and storage for one year. The prize must be redeemed by the 02nd November 2011. At ICSB-TT Champions never die!

A very bitter sweet day... A client had a very valuable dog take in a few days ago. His vitals were deteriorating rapidly and the dog had to be put to sleep today. We managed to collect semen from him and froze two matings. He'll have his first two litters on the ground someday! All was not lost!
