Asia is home to the largest cat population — close to 400 million — and the United States has one of the highest numbers of pet cats, with about 88 million living in homes across the country.

Cats are found on every continent except Antarctica. Their ability to adapt to a variety of environments has made them one of the most widespread animals on the planet.

Edit: since people seem confused or just in the mood to be contrary, the unadoptable in the feral list, is how they are when FOUND.
NOT how they are after weeks to months to even years of work, care, and earned trust.
This is a general guide to get people to stop calling every stray feral and risking it being euthanized because no one wants to work with it.
