Why is my pet shedding?
Unlike human hair, the hair of cats and dogs grows and falls in different periods and a different balance. These periods occur according to nutrition, hormones, health conditions and mostly environmental temperature and daylight level. Dogs living in the northern hemisphere, including Turkey, usually molt twice a year. The most important reason for this molt in spring and autumn is ambient temperature and daylight changes.
1. Use a formula that provides balanced and complete nutrition.
2. Brush your pet regularly.
3. Washing your dogs regularly and using the appropriate shampoo will minimize the problems with hair change. Do not use shampoos made for humans.
4. Stress is one factor that increases hair loss in cats and dogs. During pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding, the hair of your cats and dogs will start to fly around a lot.
5. Considering these factors, if there is no improvement, it would be useful to consult a veterinarian.
