The School is in Sidi Thabet, commune of the gouvernerat of Ariana, located at a score of kilometers in t

he North of the capital on the road of Bizerte, near the principal cattle-rearing areas of the country.

أنشأت المدرسة الوطنية للطب البيطري سنة 1974، طبقا للمرسوم عدد 19 لسنة 1974 المؤرخ في 24 أكتوبر 1974 و المتعلق بضبط نظام الدراسات البيطرية المصادق عليه بالقانون عدد 95 لسنة 1974 المؤرخ في 11 ديسمبر 1974 و على الأمر عدد 1913 لسنة 2001 المؤرخ في 14 أوت 2001 المتعلق بضبط الإطار العام لنظام الدراسة و شروط التحصيل على الشهادة الوطنية لدكتور في الطب البيطري.

تقع المدرسة الوطنية للطب البيطري بسيدي ثابت بولاية أريانة على بعد حوالي عشرين كيلومترا شمال العاصمة على الطريق المؤدية إلى ولاية بنزرت على مقربة من أهم مناطق الفلاحة و تربية الماشية بالبلاد.
