At nearly 13 years young...
Gizmo is showing us how to poke out your tongue...
7 weeks ago Gizmo entered Pug Rescue foster care...
He was obese, was dripping blood and saliva from his extremely painful ulcerated mouth that was full of rotten teeth and infection, had sore eyes from untreated entropion and pigmentary keratitis and was a snow ball of dead hair....
Gizmo would also scream and try to gum you when you went to touch him around the neck or shoulders or back which was sad...
This was both due to not being handled and evidence of a previous collar that had been to tight leaving missing hair on his chest and in a ring around his neck which look bad...
In 7 weeks sweet Gizmo's life has changed so much for the better...
We told him that it doesn't matter that he is a senior he still deserves to be comfortable and loved and cared for furever...
In 7 weeks we turned a disaster puggy case...
Into a happy puggy boy which is ace...
In just 7 weeks Gizmo has been to Knox Vet Clinic 3 times with the first for a checkup and vaccination, second was for some pain killers and antibiotics because his mouth was weeping, bleeding and sore and then for his very major dental which he had 15 rotten teeth removed....
He has also lost 3kg+ which has seen his breathing greatly improved....
He has also been to the eye specialist Melbourne EyeVet who has prescribed special Tacrolimus eyedrops as both of his eyes and have pigmentary keratitis and entropion which would hurt a lot....
Gizmo there is not much more that we can do for you mate...
So the next step is to find you your very own furever home that we promise will be great...

Right now he is busy sunbaking and soaking up some rays...
