We are beyond grateful to every single person who played a role in making this journey possible. It truly takes a village, and your love, support, and effort helped give this beautiful soul the life he deserves.

We miss you, sweet boy… but our hearts are full knowing you’re finally home💫🧡

If you’ve ever loved a fur baby, you know they’re more than pets... they’re family 🐾💔

I highly recommend honouring them with a ceremony when it’s time to say goodbye. It brings so much healing and closure to such a painful moment.

The only place I can truly recommend in Phuket is Phuket Pet Cremation by Dr. Boonchit, located in Pa Lok, Phuket, Thailand.

I recently held a ceremony there for Homer, and it was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, respectful, and full of love... everything he deserved.

I think I've been there more than 5x now and always so lovely.

Dr. Boonchit and his team treat every animal with dignity and every person with compassion. It’s more than a service.. it’s a sacred space to say goodbye with grace.

If you're in Phuket and ever faced with this heartbreaking time, know this place exists. You and your beloved companion will be in the most caring hands 💛🐶🌈

Solo - wild, lovable Vizsla with a heart full of energy and a nose for adventure! ❤️

Solo’s had a rough start in life, but he’s come a long way and is ready to find the right human (or humans!) to continue the journey with.

Here’s the truth:
He’s not for everyone.
But for the right person… he’ll be your best friend, adventure buddy, and personal trainer all in one 🏃‍♀️🐶

💥 What Solo is:

Super smart, cheeky, and full of personality

An outdoorsy dog who needs daily exercise

A cuddly softie when he finally slows down

Crate trained, car ride lover (though a bit dramatic in the back seat!)

Great with female dogs, picky with males

Still working on his manners...teenage boy energy in a grown-up body!

⚠️ What Solo needs:

A secure home with a high fence or wall

No young kids...he’s too bouncy and strong

A human who’s home a lot or takes him along

Someone experienced and confident with dogs

A big garden or daily hikes/runs to burn off all that Vizsla energy!

Solo’s come such a long way with training, structure, and love, and he deserves a life full of freedom, fun, and connection.

Death seems to be circling too often lately.

Homer passed.
A street dog I recently met got hit by a car and sadly didn't make it.
The dog I reported in Chiang Mai was so sick she had to be put to sleep.

This is the part of helping dogs that most people don’t see.

I only share about 10% of what I do... not because I’m hiding it, but because if I shared it all, I’d never be offline. And my wellness heart-work, the way I earn a living, is online too.
But behind the screen, I support many street and pound dogs locally.. checking in, feeding, fostering, finding homes, advocating.

It’s hard sometimes.

Seeing so much cruelty, neglect, and abandonment can feel unbearable.

I’ve had to learn how to stay open without being consumed.

How to still love the world even when it breaks my heart.

Because if I close, the love stops. And the dogs lose.

So I keep going. Soft heart, steady feet.

One dog at a time.

RIP little angel. Who I only got to know recently. She was only a pup 😭😪💔

He wouldn’t leave. Not even when the river left ruins behind.

After the devastating July 4 floods in Texas, as the Guadalupe River receded, a brown pitbull named Hulk returned to what was left of his family’s riverside home.

The house was shattered. The floorboard he sat on—barely intact.

But Hulk stayed.

He sniffed the air. He waited.
For a scent. A sound.
For them.

One day passed. Then another. Still, he didn’t move.

Neighbors finally called Kerrville Pets Alive. When rescuers arrived, they found Hulk alive, unharmed—but grieving.
Loyal to the very end, he refused to leave the place where his family had last been.

Because dogs don’t measure time the way we do.
They measure love.
And sometimes, they wait forever.
