We have just had a deceased domestic short haired black female cat handed in this morning. She is microchipped but unfortunately we are unable to get any details. She was found on Cayton low road. If you think she could be yours please give us a call on 01723 586392.

Veterinary Care Assistant – Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Part-Time | £13/hour | Independent Small Animal Practice

We’re a growing, independent practice looking for a compassionate and reliable VCA to join our amazing team in Scarborough! 🐶🐱

🩺 What you’ll be doing:
✔ Assisting our vets and nurses with patient care
✔ Keeping the practice clean and safe
✔ Helping out on reception and admin tasks

📆 Part-time hours (2-week rota):
Week 1 (31.5 hours): Tues–Fri (daytime between 8am and 3pm) + Saturday morning
Week 2 (36 hours): Tues–Fri (longer shifts between 8am and 6pm) – Saturdays off
📍 Flexibility to cover holidays appreciated
💷 £13 per hour

🐾 Has animal husbandry experience (employment or education)
🐾 Has (or wants to gain) a VCA qualification
🐾 Loves animals and works well in a team!

Being on holiday and needing veterinary treatment can be quite daunting when you do not know the area, we are able to see pets who are visiting the area if they need to be seen 😁🐾
