WVS Thailand Foundation

WVS (Worldwide Veterinary Service) Thailand helps animals with no access to private vet care. Care for Dogs is open Monday thru Saturday, from 08:30 - 16:30.

Volunteers may visit from 09:30 - 16:00. The shelter is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A MONTH MAKES! 🤩
Melon, a young male stray, was admitted to WVS in late May, in a very weakened state, with a major skin parasite infestation and secondary skin infection. A serious blood parasite infection further complicated his situation.

Our veterinary team provided Melon with all the necessary treatments to make a rapid and impressive recovery over the past several weeks. Meanwhile, our caretakers and volunteers give this sweet youngster lots of TLC, while he’s completing his recovery at our bright new kennels.

Melon is a very sweet, affectionate and sociable youngster, who would make a wonderful family pet. So please contact us, if you are looking for a great canine companion, by dropping a message or calling 086-913-8701 (Mon-Fri, 9-4).

"เมลอน" พลิกชีวิตจากความเจ็บปวด สู่วันที่สดใส

เรื่องราวของ "เมลอน" สุนัขจรตัวน้อยที่ป่วยเป็นโรคผิวหนัง เขาได้เข้ามารักษากับมูลนิธิฯ เมื่อปลายเดือนพฤษภาคม ครั้งแรกที่ได้เจอเมลอน เขามีสภาพร่างกายที่อ่อนแอจากการติดเชื้อปรสิตบริเวณผิวหนัง และผิวหนังมีการติดเชื้อแทรกซ้อน ซ้ำร้ายยังติดเชื้อพยาธิเม็ดเลือดซึ่งเป็นอันตรายต่อสุขภาพของเมลอนอย่างมาก!

ตลอดหลายสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ทีมสัตวแพทย์ของเราได้ให้การรักษาอย่างต่อเนื่องและสม่ำเสมอ เจ้าหน้าที่ดูแลสัตว์ และอาสาสมัครต่างมอบความรักและความเอาใจใส่ให้แก่เมลอนขณะที่เขาพักฟื้น เมลอนจึงฟื้นตัวได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ขนเริ่มกลับมาสวยเงางาม และแข็งแรงขึ้นในทุกวัน!

จากบาดแผลสู่ชีวิตใหม่ของ "วาเลนไทน์" ❤️🩺 [English Below]

เรื่องราวของ “วาเลนไทน์” สุนัขวัดที่เผชิญกับเหตุการณ์น่าสะเทือนใจ เราได้รับแจ้งว่าเธอกำลังทนทุกข์จากบาดแผลเรื้อรังบริเวณปาก และทีมสัตวแพทย์ของเราได้ตรวจพบว่ามีเนื้อตายเป็นบริเวณกว้าง ซึ่งครอบคลุมใบหน้าซีกขวาของเธอ

ด้วยความทุ่มเทของทีมสัตวแพทย์ และหัวใจที่ไม่ยอมแพ้ของวาเลนไทน์ เธอฟื้นตัวได้อย่างรวดเร็วภายในเวลาเพียง 6 สัปดาห์ บาดแผลเนื้อตายที่เคยสร้างความเจ็บปวดได้รับการรักษาจนหายดี และฟื้นฟูสุขภาพของเธอให้กลับมาแข็งแรงอีกครั้ง ในวันนี้วาเลนไทน์สามารถใช้ชีวิตได้อย่างมีความสุข ปราศจากความเจ็บปวด และพร้อมก้าวต่อไปอย่างสดใส

Valentine's Incredible Recovery ❤️🩺

Meet Valentine, a brave temple dog who endured an incredibly tough time. When she first came to us, she was suffering immensely from a chronic wound on her mouth. Our veterinary team confirmed extensive necrotic tissue covering the right side of her face.

Thanks to the dedication of the vets and Valentine’s own fighting spirit, she made an incredible recovery in just six weeks. The painful necrotic wounds she once suffered from have now completely healed, and her health is back on track. Today, Valentine is living a happy, pain-free life and looking forward to a bright and hopeful future.

Looking For A Brilliant Companion - Meet Sam! 🤩
Sam, a lively and lovable 4-year-old male, found his way to our clinic just in time. He had a terrible injury to his right front leg, which had occurred several weeks before we met him. While there was no chance to save the injured limb, our vet team fought hard to help him overcome the life-threatening infection that had developed. Despite the pain he had endured and a difficult recovery, Sam always remained in good spirits and never complained about his situation.

Today, Sam is not just recovered; he is thriving! He's a smart, medium-energy companion who navigates life on three legs with effortless grace and joyful determination. He keeps up with his four-legged friends at the center without effort. His people skills are as impressive as his resilience – he adores human company and gets along well with other dogs.

Sam has overcome so much and is ready to pour all his affection into a forever family. 💔 LOOK AT THIS SWEET FACE!
Biscuit's story started with a limp and a plea for help at a local temple. Our team found this gentle soul during a recent outreach, and it was clear he deserved so much more than a harsh life on the streets.

🏥 At the WVS Rescue Center, our vets discovered that Biscuit had a partially healed leg fracture and blood parasites. He's a charming youngster with a sweet and gentle personality who has already stolen the hearts of our staff and volunteers.

🏡 We really hope for a loving family for Biscuit, where he can thrive and share his endless affection. He's well on his way to a full recovery and gets along with other friendly dogs. Imagine the joy he'll bring to your home!

Our Story

WVS Thailand (formerly Care for Dogs) Foundation is a registered charity and member of Worldwide Veterinary Service. From our base in Chiangmai we provide veterinary support and conduct animal birth control campaigns, focused on the welfare of community animals (mainly dogs & cats) in Thailand and the region.

The WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation Center is open Monday thru Saturday, from 09:00-17:00. It offers free treatment and rehabilitation for stray and community animals.

Visitors and adopters are welcome Monday thru Saturday, 10:00- 16:30. Volunteers may visit from 09:30 - 15:00. The shelter is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Currently, visits are by appointment only. Please message us, or call 086 913 8701 during office hours.
