In addition to providing a safe home for our rescued elephants at Elephant Nature Park, we offer support, advice, office-based resources, and funding to all of the projects under the Foundation's umbrella. It is our mission to save the Asian elephant from extinction and give domesticated elephants a life worth living by preserving habitat and increasing public awareness on humane treatment practic

es. In carrying out this mission, we ensure that the best interests of the elephants within our flagship, Elephant Nature Park, are maintained and that their short- and long-term needs are met. We endeavor to extend this same support to the people and elephants within the Jumbo Express project and other outreach projects.

The day we rescued Nam Thip, she was weak and broken.

Her face was sunken, her skin dry and cracked, and her body fragile from years of suffering. Her spirit was deeply traumatized, and we believed it would take a very long time for her to heal.

But Nam Thip surprised us all.

She adapted quickly and became a powerful example of resilience showing that even after deep emotional pain, it is possible to heal, move forward, and create something beautiful again.

Today, this herd is led by Nam Thip.

She has become the heart that brings elephants together. Brave and confident, she often walks across the grasslands into the territories of other herds, building friendships and inviting new members to join her family.

This young elephant has achieved something extraordinary. She has won the trust and love of many older elephants and successfully created her own herd.

From a fragile and traumatized elephant to a strong and compassionate leader—Nam Thip continues to amaze us every day.

Whenever we see her magnificent family together, we feel overwhelming pride and gratitude for the miracle she has become.

Every rescued elephant carries a story within them.

A story of loss, hardship, and trauma from years of being forced into submission—pain they cannot put into words.

Kham Tan is a mother elephant who once gave birth to three calves, yet never had the chance to raise any of them. Each baby was taken away from her. We cannot imagine the depth of that heartbreak.

Today, her greatest comfort is friendship.

Now she has Apple, a young female elephant about the same age as Kham Tan’s first calf. Apple came from a riding camp in Kanchanaburi. She was separated from her own mother at a very young age and forced to work on the streets. No one knows where her mother is today.

When we first met both Kham Tan and Apple, what we saw in their eyes was emptiness.

Though they were rescued from different places and at different times, fate brought them together here. In their new home, they have become unlikely friends—comforting one another, sharing their pain, and slowly healing together.

No one understands an elephant better than another elephant.

Having companionship, love, and the support of their own kind is one of the most powerful ways for elephants to heal from trauma.

From a tiny newborn who arrived in the world before her mother was ready — with no milk and surrounded by uncertainty — to the bright and beautiful young elephant she is today, growing up within her herd and embraced by love.

This little life, which began with such great challenges, has shown us that when elephants are given a chance, they can grow strong, with love, grace, and dignity.

We are deeply honored to have been part of this journey — supporting Mae Bunma until she was able to care for her calf again, and witnessing Baby Chaba bloom into the happy elephant she is today.

Always loved, always protected. 💚🐘

จากลูกช้างน้อยที่เกิดมาในวันที่แม่ยังไม่พร้อม

The vibrant spirit of SaiThong today 🤍

SaiThong was happily splashing in the river when she heard Chana calling. Without hesitation, she turned and hurried back to her and Grandma Kabu.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of SaiThong coming to live with us and meeting Chana here. She has become an important member of a big, loving family—just as she truly deserves.
