📌WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR FOXY
This month has been filled with emergency cases and the heavy costs of urgent vet care. Our newest arrival, Foxy, is a very special dog who has endured so much already. Once clearly someone’s cherished pet, Foxy was cruelly abandoned at a temple. Terrified and stressed, so much so that she was drooling (watch her in the video) she tried to hide from the other dogs, quietly curling up in a corner.
Upon closer inspection, it appeared she had either just given birth or was about to. A compassionate monk caring for the temple dogs reached out to a free spay clinic near the temple to get her assessed. The diagnosis was devastating: Foxy had pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection requiring immediate surgery.
The first surgery was successful, and we agreed Foxy would come into our care afterwards. But once she came to us things took a difficult turn. Her wound wouldn’t heal, and the infection worsened. She needed a second surgery to drain the infection and had a drainage tube inserted for several days. A drug resistance test revealed her body rejects most antibiotics, forcing us to start treatment from scratch with a carefully tailored plan.
Thankfully, we are thrilled to report that Foxy is now stable and recovering well. However, the medical care has come with a significant cost of 40.500 baht (bill attached) , one that we cannot cover without your help.

Foxy is truly one of a kind. She can smile on command or simply when she’s happy to see you (see videos). She’s affectionate, calm, great with other dogs, loves puppies and children, enjoys playing with toys, walks perfectly on a leash and is a radiant little sunshine who brightens every room. We don’t understand why anyone would abandon her, but her new life filled with love and care starts now.
