Hello from the Arabian Horse family channel.
It’s been quiet from us for quite a while now, and a lot of changes have happened.

All of our Arabian horses have moved to their new owners, and the only horses left are Lily the Falabella and Simba the Pony. Daisy the goat is also still here with her son, who has grown up into a big buck already. They all still like hanging out and grazing together.

We’ve released all the rabbits to roam freely on our property, so now we can see small white rabbits here and there.

We have also been traveling around Thailand and the area where we live

It is often that situations, businesses, and circumstances come to an end, but we are positive that it all happens for a better path and that better things will come along. It’s like this in nature as well, after summer, comes autumn and a long dark winter, for spring to arise from the snow and mud, bringing hope and joy for the warm and happy summer that is just around the corner. And so it repeats its cycle, it’s for us to find joy in every season and situation and know how to go with the flow, balanced and peacefully.

So now, at the doorstep of a new season and a new beginning, we are carefully planning for a new venture that will combine our knowledge and skills and make a living based on what we are passionate about and happy doing. We are planning to keep the animals we have left, and in the future add more animals.

Be sure to follow our journey of building up a new business, that will be tasty, fun, and family-friendly!

All the best, Arabian Horse Family!

To tell you the story that led us to this situation, we will have to rewind to the first time Venus gave birth to a foal. It was in September 2021, when Venus had a red bag delivery, it was the first time we'd ever encountered it, and knew little about what to do. When we figured out that Venus had bad milk as well, it was too late to save her foal, since he had gone too long without proper milk and medicine.

So this time when we knew this might occur again, we prepared ourselves. Ordered the best milk replacement we could find, and bottles for feeding in case of any problems again.

We would check on Venus every day and evening from the 3rd of January, which was the date exactly 11 months after her impregnation by Rocky. We started to worry about the foal was aborted since she seemed to be late in laboring. But then, on the 21st of January, during lunchtime, our neighbor called on us that she just saw a little foal standing up on his wobbly legs.
That made us able to help and assist on time.

The first thing we did after looking at the foal, was to check Venus’s teats for milk, and then we saw once again this time, that her milk was bad, all brownish-yellowish liquid, looking nothing like normal milk at all, and when we saw the placenta, we could confirm that it had been a red bag delivery, yet again.

So we hurried up carrying the little foal to his stall, Venus following as a loving and caring mother. But due to her poisonous milk, we had to separate the foal from the mother, due to the reason that if the foal drinks her milk, he will not survive as it has no nutrients and it would be toxic for him. We quickly went up and prepared milk for the foal so he could get nutrients as quickly as possible into his system.
As advised to us by our veterinarian friend, we used this milk formula, which we will supplement with dextrose. A quick google about the amount the foal should receive was advised to give 250-300 ml. every 1 hour. for the first 6-7 days, and less frequent after week 1.

And here we are, with this darling little foal, trying to find the best position to feed. But after a few feeding, we finally found a good position, and the little foal is feeding well every time.

Arabians and a cheeky pony on the run!

Woke up this morning to the trembling sound of horse hooves running on the concrete road outside and inside our property, when I went outside to see what was going on, I was met by the sight of these horses running up and down our road. All due to the little troublemaker of a pony, Simba, who managed to open the door and let everyone out for a run this morning.

The horses definitely had their fun and excitement today, and so did we as well. Luckily all 5 returned safely to their stalls, and life could go on peacefully.

Life does take unexpected turns many times during our lifetime, and though how hard and ununderstandable it often feels, it is most of the time for a good reason. In this case, the road had let us to the crossroad where we had to decide to close our riding business and sell altogether 8 of our horses. We still have 8-9 horses left, and hopefully, in the future, we will get to have more Arabians.

On the way to this crossroad, we have got to see many types of people and their true intentions, both good and bad. The horses' new owner, made us re-believe that there are genuine people left in the circle of horse owners in this area, he came with an open heart, and with pure love and care for our Arabian horses.
We and the horses could not have wished for anyone else or better than him as their new caregiver.

We wish them all the best, may your time together be filled with happiness and joy! 🐴🙏🏻❤️
