Got a phone call from a lady who wanted her cat to stop having kittens. We were happy to help and she was successfully spayed a few days ago.

Her name is Miss Junior and she is back at home recovering and will have her stitches out in a few days.

We had a phone call that a dog on our local market had come into season.

Yesterday we had her to the vet and she was successfully spayed. Her name is Miss Suay and she will stay with us for the next 7 days until she has fully recovered.

We had this mum and her three girl pups spayed some time ago. A few days ago they had their vaccine boosters. Two were hiding from us like they knew but we got them eventually.

After their mum Miss Chaoguay passed away a few days ago (see previous post) this is her two remaining babies having breakfast this morning.

We have offered the owners our full support throughout their lives including all the medical needs they may require.

This is Miss Chaoguay and yesterday we got a phone call from her owner that she had 6 pups a week ago and she collapsed not long after. 4 of the pups died and 2 survived. Unfortunately she waited three days to phone us so was it urgent to get her help.

We got her to the vet immediately to be told after an ultra sound scan that the placenta was stuck inside her. She was admitted and put on an IV drip and medicine to help make her body stronger.

She passed away a few hours later. Another victim of being injected with human hormones to prevent pregnancy. Rest in peace Miss Chaoguay. I am sorry we couldn't get to you sooner. You deserved better in this life. We have committed to spay/neuter her two remaining pups and whatever support we can offer now they have no mum.

Miss Mom is one of the many temple dogs we spayed last year. The monk noticed a lump on her back area between her legs when she stopped eating.

We took her to the vet last week to be checked and although her blood test came back showing no problems the vet had seen this before and knew what medications to give her.

A week later she started eating again and although the lump has subsided a little we decided to continue her medication. We will continue to monitor her.

Mr Dam went home yesterday after having fully recovered from being neutered.

Yesterday we got Mr Dam in to be neutered. He is only around 6 months old and as we had done many female and male cats down the years for his owner we thought it best to have him done.

He is staying with us for a few days until he fully recoveres in our own cat recovery room which is now a permanent fixture at home.

We had Sammy to the vet yesterday with a cough he had developed. We had full tests done on him and the diagnosis we were given was he has heart disease.

They prescribed some medication and told to keep his excitement levels to a minimum but unfortunately there is little we can do beyond that. Sammy has survived Cancer, severe parasite infections, an abscess that needed draining to having some of his teeth removed.

He came to us as an old boy over 8 years ago having been dumped on numerous occasions and thankfully he had an Angel in Jane Key who rescued him, treated him and never gave up on him.

He continues to live life to the full, always happy and joyful and its an honour to continue to serve our boy. Thank you to Veronique Anthonis for continuing to support Sammy. Without that we wouldn't have been able to help as many dogs and cats as we have down the years.
