The Lipizzaner stud Hosta is one of the biggest and best known private breeder of Lipizzane horse in Slovenia and also in Europe. Every year there is between 10 and 15 thoroughbred Lipizazn foals born. There are always 2-3 elite Lipizzaner stallions breeding, which are changed every two or three years, cooperating with other studs, especialy our national stud - Stud Lipica.
