General info:
The goal of the Champion Cheetoh Cats av Sverige AB (CCC) breeding program is to create a very Exotic cat with an extraordinary Wild Look ... and yet, an extremely docile and gentle nature. Our Cheetohs incorporate the distinctive characteristics of both the Docile Beautiful Ocicat & the 'BUSIG' (Swedish for mischievous) Exotic Bengal...but THE CHEETOH will have its own 'unique' attributes, which includes an even considerably larger size than either parent, an unsurpassed gentleness of character, and a wild exotic look...that otherwise can be found only 'in the jungle'. The Cheetoh is a very 'muscular' cat...that is extremely athletic, yet very graceful and lithe. This cat also has that super 'stalking, low-shouldered' walk ... common in both its parent Ocicat and in Wild Jungle Cats, like the 'Cheetah' (gepard på svenska)... from which the breed gets its name! ...This is totally unique to the Cheetoh and is not typically exhibited in any other domestic cats. The 6 different color combinations available with spotted and/or rosetted appearance...with their large eyes & ears ...further enhances this distinctive 'Wild Look'.
The Coat of the Cheetoh, sleek and shiny, is another of its uniquely distinguishing attributes. The fur is very short and thick, not like hair, and soft and velvety ... quite similar in nature to the fur of the jungle cats. This also makes them hypo-allergenic! The dander is over 90% less than normal cat creating allergies.
The Cheetoh, though demonstrating a very fierce appearance is, AT ALL TIMES, an incredibly social and loving cat, never aloof or showing any tendencies towards aggressive or standoffish behavior. Another unique trait of the Cheetoh is that the males exhibit definite 'maternal' characteristics...towards kittens in general and younger growing cats, never being hostile or antagonistic, a mannerism exclusive only to the Ocicat, one of their parents, and virtually unknown in other feline breeds. This gentle and mild-mannered temperament is a 'very dependable' character trait of the Cheetoh. The Cheetoh is also 'extremely' intelligent and curious, often demonstrating an 'un-feline' sense of humor!!!
In summation, the overall intent of CCC's breeding program is to create Cheetohs with the wildest looking appearance of any domestic cat in the feline kingdom...WITHOUT adding any further 'wild' blood.
To have a large, sweet natured 'lap' cat that resembles a jungle cat, but has a completely dependable docile nature that can be trusted around anyone, especially children... is truly the equivalent of bringing the Cheetoh Cat ... "From The Jungle To Your Lap!!!"
