It started at the end of February. Rapid rise in temperature, severe shortness of breath and very bloated abdomen. The diagnosis was made…. pneumonia. We started treatment with corticosteroids, antibiotics, powders, and syrups that we got from veterinarians. Months have passed. The mare had its ups and downs. The ascents were usually a day or two after the cortisone vaccination. They lasted for about a week and then the breathing itself got worse again. The effect was even shorter if the weather was bad. In the end, the vets had given up on him and we were told to come to terms with the fact that the mare had COPD. We did not want to say goodbye to our black bandit. We kept looking… if the vet does not know how to help maybe someone else does, as they say… more heads more knowledge. I started looking in alternative. I found Mrs. Renata and her Golden breath therapy. We started treatment first at home. We followed the instructions, added pasture and good haylage to the diet. The fight against officially incurable shortness of breath has begun. We started with this at the end of July. We progressed nicely, but towards the end we were hit by the weather, which was not the most favorable for our mare. Rain and moisture slowed down the healing effect. We slightly extended the treatment at home, but there was no final effect. That is why we brought Rubi to Renata in Dolenjske Toplice. After two weeks, we brought home a completely different horse. Not only did she heal the breath, but her energy was completely different! In home care, we only continued to feed the haylage and add Golden breath herbs for the immune system. Heute möchte ich euch ein Bespiel für die erfolgreiche Golden Breath Therapie der COPD (Chronisch Obstruktive Lungenerkrankung) zeigen:
Das Pferd Desperado wurde mir im Sommer 2020 mit extremer Atemnot im Ruhezustand vorgestellt. Im ersten Video kann man sehr gut sehen, wie schwer er Luft bekam. Nach 4 Wochen ging es ihm schon sehr viel besser. Auf dem zweiten Video sieht man Desperado nach der Therapie. Golden Breath hat eine Erfolgsquote von 95%. Ich bin sehr glücklich, den Patienten auf diese Weise wieder eine gute Lebensqualität zu geben.

I met the horse Desperado in summer 2020 with extreme respiratory distress at rest. In the first video you can see very well how difficult it was for him to breathe. Our mare is fifteen years old and she has struggled with chronic breathing issues for more than 3 years. Before she started taking Golden Breath she was in a very bad state and it was no longer possible to use her for recreational riding. Her breathing was constantly labored and she had a persistent cough. As a result, her energy levels were very low and she was tired all the time. Emili is a 17-year-old Arab mare who came to us in November intending to get another chance in life. She was brought from Hungary, where she was used to warming up the galloping before a race, and from there, she came to the barn Žonta, where she was sold to Rogaška Slatina. Even before her previous owner got her, Emily was coughing terribly. In autumn she had a dry cough, but there was not any kind of visible exhaustion. In the winter, the situation deteriorated due to the accommodation in the stables and dry hay. In the past, she contracted borreliosis that specifically targeted her nervous system.

Who says it is not curable?

Everyone thinks it cannot be cured. I was also one of those, but until I met Miss Renata and her Golden Breath.

I never paid attention to COPD, because all of my horses were healthy.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized in horses by chronic cough, increased respiratory rate, forced abdominal breathing, and exercise intolerance.

The disease usually develops over a period of time. Affected horses do not have a temperature and they appear well in themselves, but they may have reduced exercise tolerance and not be able to perform to the best of their ability. The first clinical signs include:

Reduced exercise tolerance
Increased respiratory rate
Increased expiratory effort (the abdominal muscles are used to force the air from the lungs)
An occasional cough, usually at the start of exercise
Milky white nasal discharge from both nostrils, especially first thing in the morning and after exercise
In performance horses (especially racehorses and eventers) mild RAO may produce no overt clinical signs, and the only indication of airway disease may be a loss of exercise tolerance.
