Thank You for Standing by Animal Lovers League

Dear ALL supporters and friends — thank you for the overwhelming kindness and encouragement you’ve shown us during this challenging period. Your messages and offers of help mean more to us than words can express.

Following our recent discussion with Minister Shanmugam, we will be downsizing our shelter to ensure we can continue caring for our animals in a more sustainable way. We ask for your patience as we carefully assess the needs of every animal and work out the best plans for responsible rehoming in the months ahead.

At the same time, we would like to clarify that we have not appointed nor authorised any animal welfare groups to raise funds or to rehome our animals on our behalf. Please rely only on updates from our official channels to ensure accuracy.

"OH DEAR, WE'RE ALMOST COMPLETELY OUT OF DRY AND WET FOOD?!"

Dear ALL followers

Baby Love needs your help. A few weeks ago, it was noted that he was losing significant weight. Vet visits found that Baby Love's kidney readings were high, prompting a change to kidney diet, daily subcut fluids and daily medications.

Later, follow up checks revealed Baby Love's red blood count was dropping too low and he required urgent blood transfusion. He has received his first transfusion and we are praying for his blood count to remain in a healthy range.

Baby Love will be continue to require frequent vet visits and medication top ups as we continue to try improving his health. He is such a fighter, purring even when receiving transfusion and eating to show that he has a very strong will to push through.

Please help us help Baby Love through this difficult period. He is the sweetest cat and we are all praying very hard that he pulls through. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Dear ALL followers, Ginger needs our help. 🐕🐶

Our sweet senior girl has been undergoing treatment for her eyes for almost a year. Like us, dogs’ eyesight and eye health can deteriorate as they age. 😔

Now, Ginger urgently requires a procedure called ‘Thermokeratoplasty’ as both her eyes have blurred up. She is also experiencing inflammation and ulceration in her right eye. This procedure is important and necessary to cauterise the cornea to prevent blistering — and to save her eyes.

This important and urgent surgery is set to happen on 1 October 2025. Please help us help Ginger by donating any amount you can to her treatment. The cost of her most recent vet visits for surgery assessment, pre-surgical blood tests and medications have already come up to over $600. On top of this, the quote we have received for Ginger’s eye surgery stands at $2,400 -- not inclusive of the follow up reviews, medications, etc.

We are deeply saddened to update that White White has passed away late last night at the hospital. He fought bravely through it all and we are grateful for the time we’ve had together.
