Rags to riches.
This month, we’ve met so many kind angels who adopted our cats straight from the clinic — something that is honestly so rare and so special. 🧡
Ting ting and hubby even adopted without meeting the cat!!
One of them is the ginger cat from the Woodlands Super 800 Recycling Center, now lovingly renamed Riko.
On the way to get her, the feeder told us that one of the workers had already fed her a can of food, so she might not be hungry enough to go into the trap. They even kept giving her sayangs just to keep her nearby so she wouldn’t run away.
When we arrived and started prepping the carrier, she simply walked over… and went into the carrier herself. 🤗
Then, through a chance conversation with Ting Ting, we asked if she was still looking to adopt another cat. She said yes.
We recommended Super800/Riko, and we honestly couldn’t believe she agreed based purely on our assessment that she was an incredibly sweet girl.
And just like that, she went from the streets to a home. 🏡✨
Stories like this remind us that sometimes, everything aligns perfectly for a cat who deserves a chance.
She has been officially adopted and in the midst of getting IC done. She is getting along fabulously with Rocky her new sibling.
For us, we sleep well knowing that another cat is off the streets. We cant save all, we really wish we can but adoption is the only way we can continue to do what we do
Please folks, sterilise the abandoned and stray cats and adopt adopt adopt.
