At 7pm, just as we were heading for dinner, we got a message about a macaw spotted high up in a tree in Ang Mo Kio.

We checked, thought weโ€™d come back tomorrowโ€ฆ but after dinner, we couldnโ€™t stop thinking about him.

We returned with a torch and saw he was badly tangled in a long chain.

We activated the boom lift and rescued him just in time. He could have broke his leg or strangled himself with the long chain.

After checking his ID, we realised he was the macaw reported lost in Bedok 19 days ago.

Lost without a chain. Found with one.

Tonight, heโ€™s finally back with his rightful owner. โค๏ธ๐Ÿฆœ
