The African freshwater dolphin fish. This finned genius is basically a walking (swimming?) electric current. It navigates using weak electric pulses, making it less like a fish and more like a living, swimming Wi-Fi router for its own private network. Its brain-to-body ratio is shockingly high—it’s possibly smarter than your average house cat, and certainly more high-voltage.
In the aquarium, it’s a shy, quirky oddball that enjoys pushing around ping-pong balls for a “game” and is highly likely to bump into your tank decorations if you rearrange them, as its eyesight is terrible compared to its electric sense. It’s a fish that needs a sandy playground, a dark room, and a lot of worms, making it the perfect pet for an eccentric supervillain or an avid tech enthusiast.
