After 3 weeks of running the Sicce MEGA Filtra Canister Filter in our showroom, we have to say we're impressed.
First impressions? This is easily one of the most powerful and effective canister filters we've tested so far. Some standout features we've noticed:
✅ Easy priming – Startup was quick and hassle-free, with trapped air clearing in record time.
✅ Excellent water circulation – The lily pipe-style outlet creates great surface agitation and promotes even flow throughout the aquarium.
✅ Impressive filtration performance – We intentionally stirred up plenty of detritus and fine particles while working on the aquascape, and the filter had the water crystal clear again within just a few hours.
✅ Strong and consistent flow even after long use – the filter maintained excellent circulation and water movement, probably due to the internal design which minimizes clogging.
✅ Solid build quality – Everything feels robust and well-designed, backed by a reassuring 5-year warranty.
Of course, we'll continue running it for a longer-term evaluation, but based on our first 3 weeks of testing, the Sicce MEGA Filtra has made a very strong first impression.
