Got invited to be their dog behaviorist consultant with HICCPET & Hanging out with my bro Kingsly doing his grooming demo. Interesting to have met a few celebrities and shared some tips with them for their lovely pets too.

Sunday event arrangements:
- All competitive attendees will report, register & grouping from 3:30pm onwards.
- ⁠We’ll limit max 10 dogs per group.
- ⁠Dog’s height will be measured upon registration.
- ⁠Registration will close by 5pm.
- ⁠Event will target to start by 5:30pm

Speedstakes Grouping will be based on Dog’s Height measured at the wither (shoulder).

Speedstakes Grouping:
Toy - Jump 20cm
Small - Jump 30cm
Medium - Jump 40cm
Intermediate - Jump 45cm
Large - Jump 50cm

As these are competitive event, each signed up participant & dog team Get One Run Each.

There will be 3 winners from each group.
Total prizes: 15 units
(5 groups X 3 winners)

This is going to be a memorable one for a wet National Day evening. Lots of running needed and much on point handling for today’s UKI/ SDAO Jumpers course by Mr Petr Pupik.
As always smooth n flowy, u can’t be lazy n not run with his lovely course.

Quincy did not disappoint. It was nice having a new softer turf ground to run on, hence having the right choice of shoes did make a difference with less fatigue.

1st round abit rusty n messy, disconnected, got us a DQ as he’s over hyped all pump getting in the ring.
Got ourselves recalibrated after, we managed to get a good clean run on the 2nd round, with a 1st.
3rd round he became pretty sharp and connected, we were good until mid course, and me unknowingly lift up of an arm gave Greyboy a misled signal to go off course n thereafter got a DQ. So it’s fair haha. One on him One on me & we got a 1st place together.

Looking forward for tomorrow’s Speedstakes, hopefully the weather be nice n dry. May good luck be with us! Amen 🙏 for he listens n be connected ❤️‍🔥

Agility Tryout Event:
Open for sign up on site from 3pm.

The attendees will report, register & grouping from 3pm to 3:50pm. We’ll limit max 10 dogs per group.

Group 1 -Singapore Specials Dogs

Group 2 -Toy, Small Dogs n Frenchies, Small Terriers, Daushund, Small Doodle mixes

Group 3 -Shiba Inu, Medium Doodles mixes, Pompskies, Spitzs, Corgies, Labradoodles, Spaniels n Beagles

Group 4 -Goldendoodles, Huskies, Samoyed, Labs n Goldies, RoughCollies

Group 5 -Shelties, Aussies, Mini Aussies, BorderCollies

Registration will close by 3:50pm

4pm Short presentation n talk on dog agility & demo.
By latest 4:45pm will start the action.

If you have always wanted to learn more and experience Agility Dogsports with your dogs. Come on over on 17th & 18th August weekend and join the fun for FREE!

This is a collaborative project from Smartdoggy Academy with JPG - Jurong Play Ground, to give back to society in Sg for the love of our dogs and let all dog owners have a good time with their dogs thru dog agility with quality international competitions standards dog agility obstacle equipments.

For those whose are already in the sports, you are welcome to join our Speedstakes Challenge and Tunnel match Challenge with prizes for the winners. (Details on the next post)

Managed to sneak in a little training session when the rainy weather takes a break. Amen!
Got Megan to have a go with Tasha & Quincy testing out the 2 J1 courses from my Indo Surabaya Jatim Agility Judging last weekend. Seems like super fun 😜
