"It's more than just a ride!" THERIS was born out of the love for the horse and the deep relationship that we can share with it.

Horses are incredible at adapting to our emotions and needs. We, as therapists facilitate the relationship between the horse and the client, and focus on providing individual therapeutic and educational riding lessons with an emphasis on the individual needs of each client.

These behaviors are their way of relaxing, communicating, and showing contentment!

Rolling helps them stretch and scratch an itch, licking/chewing releases tension, and yawning? Just like us, they do it when they’re relaxed or need to de-stress. 🐴🥱

Healing with Hooves 🐴💙 THERIS had the pleasure and honour of working with 5 MINDS clients recently, and our equine partners did a wonderful job in helping the clients learn and cope with their everyday stressors. She is of a quiet nature, and tends to follow Larga’s lead. Maltesa leans more towards the sensitive side, and thus will teach you the importance of boundaries🥴
