Being a community-driven urban farm, we are really honoured to be able to play a small part in the sustainability initiatives driven by Ang Mo Kio Town Council. It is truly a meaningful experience to be able to work together to provide fruits and vegetables to financially-challenged families in this community, increasing their accessibility to safe, healthy and locally-grown food.

Thank you to Ang Mo Kio Town Council, we look forward to further contribute to the green initiatives as a member of the Ang Mo Kio community. 🥬🍃

Yes, Citiponics’ farming technology, Aqua Organic System, which is used at our carpark rooftop urban vertical farm for sustainable food production has been featured in the animated video! We are really grateful to have the opportunity to play a small cameo in communicating our local farm to table efforts. 🌱🥬⁣⁣⁣

We loved seeing the different sights and sceneries of Singapore in the video, a few of our favourite scenes include that of the iconic Kallang Wave, the installation of the solar panels, the delicious multi-cultural cuisines and the hawkers setting up their stores in the wee hours. These are scenes that are close to our hearts as we continue to embrace who we are and the possibilities of who we could be. Majulah Singapura! ❤️⁣⁣

Our team at Citiponics is really thankful to be a part of this feature for AsiaOne’s GreenHome series where we got to share more about how we are utilizing our Aqua Organic System farming technology to play a small part in contributing to sustainable farming and local food security, a key pillar under Singapore Green Plan 2030 launched earlier this year.

We had the opportunity to host Minister of State for Sustainability & the Environment Desmond Tan 陈国明 and Belinda Lee over at Citiponics Urban Vertical Farm where they got to harvest and try some pesticide-free vegetable on the spot! We had an enjoyable time hosting both of them as “part-time” urban farmers and thank you for taking the time to come over.
