Why is Singapore slowly becoming so harsh towards animals?

People complain about crows, stray cats, and animals becoming a “problem”… but have we ever stopped to ask ourselves why?

We took away their trees.
We destroyed their natural habitats.
We replaced nature with concrete, buildings, cages, and endless development.

So where are these animals supposed to go?

The crows did not suddenly appear out of nowhere.
The stray animals are not surviving like this by choice.
They are adapting because humans kept taking more and more space away from them.

Then when they come closer to us just to survive, suddenly they are treated like pests instead of living souls.

What hurts even more is seeing how quickly action can be taken against animals, yet when it comes to abused, suffering, or neglected animals, many rescuers are left helpless and unheard.

I will never forget Arkham.
Watching him suffer and leave this world so cruelly broke my heart in ways words cannot explain.

Animal lovers are exhausted.
Exhausted from watching suffering.
Exhausted from crying over lives people think are worthless.
Exhausted from feeling like compassion is disappearing from society.

A country can progress without losing humanity.

Animals feel pain.
They feel fear.
And they deserve kindness too. Please get your senses straight npark!

Crypta … ❤️🥰

She’s such a strong little baby, just like Crypto. So tiny, yet so determined in everything she does. The moment she came into my life a few weeks ago, she already stole my whole heart. 🤍

What amazes me the most is how FAST she is 😭⚡
She literally walks and runs with her front paws faster than lightning. No matter how difficult life may seem for her, she never gives up. She keeps going, keeps exploring, keeps playing like the happiest little baby ever.

And hide & seek with me has officially become her daily routine 😂 Every single day she’ll disappear somewhere, make me panic for awhile, then suddenly pop out again looking all proud and playful. It’s like her favourite game in the world.

Watching her adapt, grow stronger, and become more confident day by day honestly melts my heart. These special babies may look fragile to others, but they’re actually some of the strongest souls ever. 🥺🤍

after so long… Crypto snacky time is finally back again 🥹🐾

our little warrior still gets super excited whenever he sees his favourite treats coming 😭🤍 the ears start moving, the eyes become extra big, and suddenly he forgets he’s supposed to act cool HAHAHA

sometimes the smallest moments with Crypto honestly mean the most to me. seeing him happy, excited and enjoying his little snackies after everything he has gone through… it will always melt my heart.

To all the amazing cat mummies out there… Happy Mother’s Day 🤍🌹

Yesterday, we just wanted to do a small little gesture from us at Angel Paws,giving out roses to some of our pawrents who have trusted us with their babies throughout the years. It may just be a flower, but behind it carries a lot of appreciation, respect, and love for every single one of you. 🥹

Being a cat mummy is never easy.
The sleepless nights when they are sick.
The worries when they stop eating.
The endless cleaning, grooming, vet visits, medications, and sacrifices.
The way you put their needs before your own without expecting anything in return.

Some people may not understand it… but we do. Because to us, they are never “just cats”. They are family. They are children. They are little souls that changed our lives forever. 🤍

At Angel Paws, we are blessed to meet so many wonderful cat mummies every single day. We see the love in the way you carry them carefully, the way you ask about every little thing during grooming, the way you panic over the smallest scratch, and the way your eyes light up after seeing them fresh, clean, and happy again. 🐾

Thank you for trusting me with your precious babies. Thank you for allowing me to bond with them, care for them, and be part of their journey. Some of you have been with us for years, and honestly… many of you no longer feel like clients. You feel like family. 🌸

Meet Crypta 🤍

Crypta is my newly adopted baby girl. I took her in from a kind-hearted family who reached out to me on Instagram, as she has a condition similar to Crypto. After hearing her story, I decided to adopt this beautiful little princess and make her part of my family.

I’m truly grateful that her previous owner trusted me to care for Crypta for the rest of her life.

From what I was told, Crypta’s mum gave birth to a litter of three. Sadly, one passed away, leaving two kittens. The other kitten was healthy, but Crypta was different. Her mum rejected her and would even push her away when she tried to feed. Thankfully, her previous owner stepped in and hand-raised her with goat’s milk, giving her the chance to survive and be here today.

Now, I’m so happy that Crypto has a new friend 🤍

I’m more than grateful to share my love with these special babies. They may be different, but they deserve just as much love…🥰

This Hari Raya feels extra special for me and Angel Paws… because of someone with a very big heart 🥹

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Tengku Mariani for her kindness and generosity. She didn’t just think about me… she thought about all the cats that come through my small little salon 🐾

She sponsored these grooming brushes under Crypto’s name 🐱 so that I can give them away FREE to every cat that comes for grooming.
Not for profit, not for branding… just pure kindness and love for animals.

To me, this is something very meaningful. Because Angel Paws has always been about heart, not business. And when someone supports in this way… it really touches me deeply.

On top of that… she even sent a huge, beautiful homemade Hari Raya cake 🎂🌙
Honestly I was so shocked when I received it… it was so thoughtful, so personal, and made with so much love.
