Sandy and her three friends are regulars at the cat hotel and when she walks out of her carrier at Shangri-Paw, sheโ€™s right at home ๐Ÿ’ž
First order of business: snuggles!
Next: plotting her escape (usually her friend Frankie will assist with a diversion ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ‘ป)

Return guests always settle much faster and we find that after the 3rd or 4th stay itโ€™s usually only a couple of hours, not days!๐Ÿ’–

Having consistent and long term staff definitely helps the cats to feel at ease in a familiar boarding surrounding, where everyone knows their likes, dislikes and special care needs ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

Do you have a cat that loves light pats or even hard smacks at the base of the tail? ๐Ÿคญ
Itโ€™s a highly sensitive area and some cats dislike to be touched there, however, SOME cats can get really into it ๐Ÿ˜†
We always check with owners if their cats have any special likes or dislikes and how they enjoy being touched or petted ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
But often cats clearly show us what they love ๐Ÿ’ž
Miyu is too cute and vocally demands her bum pats! ๐Ÿคญ

Teh-Oh lost her eyesight in due to complications from cat flu as a tiny kitten๐Ÿ˜ฟ
But that hasnโ€™t stopped her from enjoying life to the fullest. Partially sighted cats can adapt amazingly well, they can play or navigate tricky jumps on our catified walls.
They usually make up with their other senses: excellent hearing, facial and carpal whiskers and a nose much more sensitive than ours provide them additional information! ๐ŸŒŸ
We are so happy to see Teh-Oh thriving in a happy home with 3 sibling and will miss her when checks out soon! ๐Ÿพ

These days Hershey wants to be with someone all the time. She so deserves to spend her retirement is a loving home, where she can follow you around and get pets or snuggles whenever she wants (you might not get much done when she demands her cuddle time). But not to worry, as a senior cancer survivor she does still sleep plenty. ๐ŸŒ™๐ŸŒŸ

While Hershey has a medical history, she is at this point on no medication and does not require special care โ€“ message us to find out more details!๐Ÿคฉ

While we love her to bits and donโ€™t mind caring for her, she would like more company than we can give her.
All she wants is to look out of a window, get her favourite kitten food (you will need to monitor her little cute round tummy), follow you wherever you go and have to slide her on your lap where she can stay forever. ๐Ÿ’–

We are happy to move Hershey into a FOSTER or ADOPTIVE home and can discuss details and option. Her rescuer is happy to sponsor her medical care!๐Ÿพ

Maui is a regular at Shangri-Paw and feels super at home ๐Ÿ’– The occasional treat certainly helps ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ˜ป
And whatโ€™s better than getting those adorable after treat tongue out shots ๐Ÿ’ž Cat tongues really are so amazingly flexible!

Our constant goal is to find ways to improve the health and welfare of our own cats as well as our guests!

I personally have tried countless fish oils and supplements to improve my catโ€™s diet, but with little to no success. ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ They are all such picky eaters. ๐Ÿ˜ผ

I would much prefer to post about cats and their happy moments, but this is important to me to ensure no other small business owners make the same mistakes that I have together with a number of businesses.

Amidst the tiring process, I was lucky enough to recover a portion of the money back but the lost momentum, time and resources which could have been used to grow the business is something that can never be gotten back.

How Brandtok was still allowed to operate despite several rulings from Small Claims is still shocking to me.
Or how they managed to delete negative Google reviews to prevent new clients from finding outโ€ฆ

I wish I could have warned others earlier but I only recently found out this was a wider issue and it wasnโ€™t only me. Sadly, those that engaged Brandtok after me paid much larger sums and Iโ€™m not sure how their losses can be recovered now. I hope media and authorities become aware now and take action!

All described events in the video were my experience from engaging in Brandtok in 2024 and are documented through official invoices, WhatsApp and Telegram conversations as well as the ruling from Small Claims Court.

Leo is known to be shy and skittish, even at home. โ€šHeโ€™s scared of everythingโ€˜ said his pawrent ๐Ÿฅน
Although his 3 siblings all adjusted quickly, he struggled the first few days. We spoke to his mom and vet and decided to help with not only pheromone litter and Feliway but also a small dose of transdermal Gabapentin for his restless nights ๐ŸŒ™
Transdermal application was easy and caused no additional stress compared to pilling ๐Ÿฅน
Now Leo is slowly showing signs of becoming more comfortable around us and even started to engage in play โ€ฆ with the biggest, saddest โ€šPuss in Bootsโ€˜ eyes ๐Ÿฅน
We will keep working to gain his trust and make his stay comfortable ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿพ

Oli is a young and growing boy and needs ALL the extra food he can get - or so HE says ๐Ÿคฃ

Heโ€™s been stealing Cattoโ€™s food from the nightly auto feeder and will double dip into anything we serve as Catto tries to slowly savour his meals ๐Ÿฅน

So heโ€™s been subjected to forced hugs and shoulder rides while we let Catto finish his portion in peace ๐Ÿ’–
