We at Green Cube sure do, and we have something exciting to announce!

In conjunction with Teachers’ Day (Sep) and Childrens’ Day (Oct), Green Cube and St. Andrew’s Mission School (SAMS) are collaborating in a special project! St. Andrew's Mission School caters to children and youth on the autism spectrum who are able to access the national curriculum at the primary and secondary levels.

Designs drawn by Primary One students from SAMS will be featured on the covers of our Microgreens Home Growing Kits, which are packed by Green Cube’s urban farmers with autism. These fascinating artworks were contributed by 7 students and will be on a total of 1000 kits. Art offers these children an opportunity for self-expression, and benefits include developing focus and motor skills. We hope that they will continue to create meaningful pieces and be active contributors in our community.

We also like to take this opportunity to thank all the educators who work tirelessly to nurture and maximise the potential of all students.

We conducted a children’s microgreens workshop last week. Was blown away by the children’s enthusiastic responses and enjoyed seeing the little ones embrace learning, even if it involves trying new veggies and getting their hands dirty! 👧🏻👦🏼🌱

Thank you for the space! We love that everything was child-friendly and the environment naturally sparked children’s interest in books!

Despite the early morning showers, many turned up for monthly farmers market! We were happy to share our story and let you try our microgreens. Today’s popular microgreens among children were Broccoli and among adults, Rocket and Wasabi Mustard!
