We spoke with so many of you (and probably spent at least 10 mins each 😅), but honestly our favourite part was sharing how CHUKUS is changing the pet food game through real nutrition 🥼🐾

Earlier this month, Josh from Chuku’s Kitchen reached out to us. He shared about Chuku’s Kitchen, their food and what they are about.

While Human has always pride herself on preparing fresh, healthy meals with a good variety of protein choices for us, she was impressed with Chuku’s Kitchen and their client-centric practice, right down to amino acid and mineral level count.

When Josh asked if they could send some food over for us kids to try, of course we said yes. We are all about supporting local businesses and at the same time, we can try another chef’s cooking. Sometimes Human does wonder if we are sick of her food 😂

We received the 4 variants - duck & broccoli, beef and blueberries, chicken & kale and kangaroo and kale. They came frozen and all you gotta do is thaw them and serve them to us pups!

Thanks to the generous portions, we got to try everything! Hachiko, Bella and me (Onyx) loved everything. We demolished it all! As for Bartholomew, he finished all except for the green peas he managed to pick out 😂

As for what’s my favorite?

Let’s just say I may have hung around the kitchen a little extra longer hoping for some extra kangaroo & kale 😍

If you are keen on a home-cooked diet for your pups, we encourage you to do your own cooking. There is so much pleasure and satisfaction in cooking, and no one should miss out on that 😌 But the truth is, life can get pretty hectic for humans. And many a times, 24 hours just zoom by.

[ Rosehip powder, eggshell powder and turmeric paste are added to our meals daily. Other supplements are rotated. Everything is mixed together and vegetables are chopped finely before serving. ]

[ Some of our friends may not be too sure of the meaning of Kor Kor and Jie Jie. Kor Kor (or Gor Gor) is an affectionate term in Chinese which means elder brother. Jie Jie (or Zeh Zeh), also an affectionate term, means elder sister! ]

As pawrents ourselves, there's a struggle between wanting to provide the best for our dogs, ensuring that the food they eat everyday is fresh, healthy and balance, versus making sure that it is reasonably priced and doesn't damage our human pockets.
