Official Statement from Adventure Tails
We are deeply saddened by the recent incident involving Kreon during transportation. Our hearts are with Kreon and his family during this extremely difficult time, and we are sincerely hoping for his recovery.
At Adventure Tails, the safety and wellbeing of every dog entrusted to our care has always been, and will always remain, our highest priority. Hearing that a dog under our extended care is currently in critical condition is something that has deeply affected our entire team.
Following the incident, we immediately conducted an internal review of the transportation arrangements involved. As a result of this review, Adventure Tails has terminated all engagement with Pyro Logistics with immediate effect. We have taken this step to ensure that the standards of safety and care expected by our clients and by ourselves are fully upheld moving forward.
In addition, we are implementing further improvements to our transportation arrangements. This includes engaging vehicles equipped with dedicated rear air-conditioning systems to ensure better ventilation, airflow, and comfort for dogs during transport. These measures are part of our commitment to continuously strengthen the safety of our operations.
We are currently working closely with Kreon’s owners during this time and remain in contact with them. Our focus right now is on Kreon’s wellbeing, and we sincerely hope for positive news regarding his recovery.
Adventure Tails has been operating for many years, caring for hundreds of dogs who are part of our extended family. This incident is deeply distressing for us, and we are committed to taking every necessary step to learn from this situation and strengthen our processes so that the safety of the dogs entrusted to us remains protected at all times.
We appreciate the understanding and support from the community as we continue to focus on what matters most , the wellbeing of the dogs in our care.
