Our upcoming August shipment consists of 100% premium Grand Selections, meticulously hand-selected from the finest regions of Kapuas Hulu, Sepauk, and Puttussibau.

The G01–G10 Series this round is simply insane. Every single specimen was personally selected to meet The Grand Standard—only the very best of the best made the cut.

We’re incredibly grateful that over 90% of this shipment was reserved even before arrival. 🙏

🍤 “Are your fish pellet trained?” 🤔

This is probably one of the questions we get asked the most!

At Grand Arowana, we don’t specifically pellet train our fish. During quarantine and grooming, we feed freshly frozen market prawns because that’s our preferred diet and what we believe brings out the best condition in our fish.

The reason is simple — once your fish goes home, you should have the freedom to choose the diet that suits your own keeping style, whether it’s pellets, frozen food, insects, or a combination.

The good news? Most of our juvenile fish are extremely food motivated. With proper water quality and a healthy environment, they usually adapt very quickly to pellets or other dry foods if that’s what you prefer.

🎥 This video is a perfect example. Once a fish has a strong appetite and is in good condition, training it to accept pellets is usually much easier than many new hobbyists think.

So if you’re worried about buying a fish that “won’t eat pellets”—don’t be. A healthy fish with a good feeding response is the key, not whether it was specifically pellet trained.

Healthy fish. Strong appetite. Easy transition. That’s The Grand Standard.
